cheap painter?

Postby RS13 » Fri Sep 01, 2006 4:56 pm

Just need my roof done, all it needs is rubdown and respray, as the factory clearcoat has crapped out. Factory black metallic. Any recommendations would be great, I'm just seeing if I can get it done cheap, rather than go pay retail!

Cheers. :)

Speak to me. My other half is starting to do resprays in the shed (shes a car painter by trade)

I'll speak to her and see if shes interested. Can also do it at her work if need be.

That would be great, if you could ask her roughly how much she'd want? Thanks man, much appreciated! :)

Hi all, im the Elmos other half.

As he said, trying a bit of the painting in the shed, havent done a great deal yet though.
Id like to see the jobs first before making a decision on weather it can be done at home or not. because its a garage job i cant guarentee that it will be mint espically on bigger jobs and there should be no expectations that it will be show finish.
we live in shirley for people to bring it me to have a look at OR if the thursday night meets are still alive then that would be alright too.

PM Elmo or myself with more details

I'm not too fussed on "show quality", lol, I'm just wanting my ugmo roof to be black again, as the rest of the car has a few dents here and therea anyways!

Could you please PM me with a ballpark figure for my roof? Its my ae92. I don't want it panelled, just primered and squirted.

Try Scotty from D-Squad (the yellow taxi). He does really good prices on paint jobs, he did my car a few months back.
