Shimming up an LSD

Postby FST4RD » Wed Dec 06, 2006 5:16 pm

I know it's not a Toyota, it's an LSD for a Mitsi Starion.
Does anyone here know how to or know of someone or somewhere that knows how to shim up an LSD so the clearances are all good??
I got it in from the states and want to make sure it's all good before I put it in the car.
I rang The Diff shop and they quoted me $295 to shim it up right!!!
I thought that was a bit much.....

Thanks guys
