Want to borrow a car transport later this week

Postby Soarer T » Wed Feb 13, 2008 12:13 am

just bought a car from up north island. going to pick it up at Picton later this week or weekend. just wondering if any one got a car transport that i can borrow for a day. i am still waiting for the seller to confirm the actual date.

the car size may be similar to a dx corolla. and i am going to drive a 2L diesel corona wagon up to Picton, so i am not sure if i could pull a twin axle trailer up. may be single axle is ok?
l if anyone can help me out. that could be great.

in return, 2 dozens of beer will be provided.

my contact number is 027-2048130.

If you don't have any luck bludging one, you could try CAT Rental store. They have that special on at the moment, pick up on Fri, return on Mon and only pay for Sat. Last time I did this it cost me $55 iirc. I thought that was a damn fine price, and they didn't ask how far I was travelling.
