Any concreters?

Postby FST4RD » Sat Mar 29, 2008 4:55 pm

Need some concreting done at home.
Last guy that said he was going to do it said it needed 3 meters of concrete and he was going to charge $700 all up.
Theres not much prep work as there has been tiles over most of the area so it's flat and hard. Not to much boxing needed either as it has the concete garage on one side, brick fence on another and a railway sleeper on another.....
Anyone here able to do this properly or know of someone?
Have cash and want done ASAP.
Thanks

if it's 3 cubic metres of concrete then the price isn't too bad, as you would pay around $200/m3.
if i wasn't so busy, i would have been up for it.
send passenger Pete a PM, he's a builder and closer.

thats a lot of concreting!!! I was going to suggest hiring a concrete mixer and buying the stuff from a garden place... but working out how much 3m3 is makes me think again 8O

wouldn't be hard to phone around and price it now that you know its approx 3m3 though
