Ill be heading out.

Best bet would be to try a few diff points, normally ill watch from the start/finish, about 3/4's up the uphill (they have made tracks), the hairpin right at the top and the big sweeper on the down hill

Heya

If you didn't see, I've posted a few details here

As Brick mentioned, you can park at the entry and walk through the pits, then cross through start / finish, then through the track up the sprint which deviates to all the interesting corners - see the map on the above link.

As Brick also said, bring camera plus warm and cold clothing - temperature changes really quickly in the forest. Hence also bringing food and drink too. We have food & drink caravans and coffee caravans there, so if you want to rely on them, bring cash.

Alternatively, if you are staying the day, you can pay an extra $10 and park in the infield pits half way up the stage - which is perfect if you want to have a midway base (half way through the course) to sit on deckchairs and drink beer (that you brought with you if thats the case) or whatever. You can venture up and down the course and leisure, but note, you can only leave and certain points of the day.

:D

Hope the above helps too :)
If I say I don't need anyone
I can say these things to you
'Cause I can turn on any one
Just like I turned on you
I've got a tongue like a razor
A sweet switchblade knife
And I can do you favors
But then you'll do whatever I like
