Hey

I have a friend who is buying a new company car for his business but they car doesn't come in his company colour. He's prob going to get a commodore ute in white or black, but wants it resprayed in gunmetal grey.
Any leads on where to get this done? Obviously the cheaper the better, without it looking shit. Not worried about door insides or engine bay.
Would need to be a place who can provide a tax invoice, unless there is significant savings to pay someone to do it privately.
Will need it done in March approx. What should this cost?

PM me if you know of someone.

Would it not be a good idea to have this done with the vinyl? Especially since the insides of doors and engine bay arent a major? (dont know how much vinyl-ing is but shouldnt be too bad if getting done one colour right?)

I had my car wrapped in vinyl recently and I fully recommend it.

If your friend is in Auckland I recommend Redline Signs in Three Kings. Troy there does an awesome job.

Bear in mind the skill of the person applying the vinyl aside the finish will only be as good as the surface it is laid on. Depending on how cheap you do a paint job you may or may not fix any damage/blemishes in the panel and paint.

ive been curious about vinyl wrapping? does the finish end up looking like a painted surface? or can you see the fabric/whatever of the vinyl?
The four seasons in Australia consist of "$&#$% it's hot", "Can you believe how $&#$% hot it is?", "I won't be in today because it is too $&#$% hot" and "Yes, the dinner plate size spiders come inside to escape from the heat."

People we know had a green van for a couple of years,
was a late model Granvia type thing,
used it for towing the race cars to the track etc etc.

Wasn't until they went to sell it and removed the green sticker that it turned out the van was silver, and was 100% sticker.
Looked like paint.
