4 & Rotary's 20th Feb 2011

Postby matt dunn » Fri Jan 14, 2011 12:20 am

Many people from here looking at going to the 4 & Rotary's at the end of February?

Am looking at running my car at the drags for a bit of a play.

Is it still a big event?

Haven't been there since I last ran my car about 6 or 7 years ago?

I see entries close on 6th Feb.

There is a chance we may put the MRS in the show on the saturday too...

I went last year, and would probably go again and have a look.

Seemed to be a lot of flat peakers. I would like to go see your cars though!

i would love to go but will still be in aus, ive heard its gotten worse over the last few years though
The four seasons in Australia consist of "$&#$% it's hot", "Can you believe how $&#$% hot it is?", "I won't be in today because it is too $&#$% hot" and "Yes, the dinner plate size spiders come inside to escape from the heat."

Its still big but it definitely gone down hill.
Show n shine is pretty pathetic and not as many people with their cars at the drags.
Mind you i skipped the drags last year but Andrew (my bf) went and he said it was ok.

We will be going again this year, just wont have time to get the gtir back on the road in time for the drags like we'd planned.

havent really thought of making the trip for it as from what ive seen from pictures from recent years the flat peaker to actual enthusiast ratio seems to be 200:1 ;)

Ill be heading up to watch the drags, might enter the GT-Four?

Ive been the last two years, the first time, i went to the show and shine on sat and the drags on sunday, was pretty disappointed with the show and shine, most of the cars were average (there were probably more interesting cars in the car park). Wasnt worth the $10 or $15 entry fee

The Drags were good and that would be the only reason id make the trip up.
