Postby h8wrxs » Sun Jul 24, 2011 2:03 am

my trueno just failed its warrant on the rear shocks so its time to put my new coilovers in and fit all the other bits ive bought recently (i will eventually put it in my project thread)

but im going to need to cert for a my coilovers and my new brakes

wheres a good place to go to and what sort of things do they check over when they do it? what do most cars fail on?

ive never gotten cert on one of my cars before so i dont know much about it

cheers

There are certain requirements to obtaining a cert on an item. They only look at the items that YOU ask, or require to be cert'ed.

An example is, seat belt mounts. They require a minimum sized plate on each side of the 'floor pan' where belt is to be mounted. Plate has to have radius'd corners and thickness etc.

If getting a cert, from memory you get most items done under a one off fee. Some more extensive items are a little higher priced as require more work.
