CHCH/Dunners Meet - Timaru 10th Dec

Postby JT » Mon Nov 07, 2005 4:19 pm

Now that all details are sorted here they are:

CHCH/Dunedin Toyspeed Meet
Saturday 10th December
Meet at Bush Inn Carpark - Riccarton Rd next to BP station

Meet at 9am, Cruise will leave at 9:30am sharp. Cruise meeting place to be Levels Raceway, Timaru.

With the Levels trackday event on I think it would be a great days entertainment for this to be the meeting place.
This is just north of Timaru but as we will be in convoy you don't need to bother finding out how to get there.
If people are keen we could all go for a drive into Timaru for lunch or afternoon tea.
Will play this by ear, along with leaving time for the cruise back.

Entry is only $5 pp or $10 a carload. Will we all hopefully park up near each other so it will be a good chance to meet and catch up with members from Dunedin while watching some good and bad driving. Events are 1/4 miles drags, circuit sprints and drifting.

If you wish to race at the event see viewtopic.php?t=39035 for more information.
It's alot of fun to legally thrash your car without fear of any police money-making antics.

Discuss away :D

Hell yes. I think I can manage this one, seeing as the Alfa is effectively a weekend toy now, I think it's a bit more feasible for me to start thrashing it in controlled conditions!!!! Cost permitting of course.... the KP is soaking up more money than I intended....

Oh and it's running absolutely beautifully at the moment.... ;)
