and a few are pointing the finger at Ruapuna/CCC/Drift South, but as i understand, the track was hired by D1GP and the day was run by them with assistance.

thats right, purely run by D1GP (nz) , and D1GP (jp) pulled the jap drifters from it at the last minute,

certainly didnt seem to do Ruapuna/CCC/Drift South any favours

ain't that the truth.

not sure if it's the same crew, but if it's the same fella that came to Timaru with a 'boys toys' type show, it proves he is either a very slow learner, or has f$#king blind financial backing.

hmm becoming a trend...

ppl rave about drifting, about the events.
then they go..... and its all a let down.......

..a trend of D1GP events but the 2 D1NZ events I've seen at ruapuna have been very well run and definately worth the money. Aparently the Drift South series is a good watch too.
