Hope Sam doesnt mind, but here's what happened in simple terms; rwd, wet road, corner, sledge and crash! Sam correct me if I'm wrong.
Both cars were able to be re-started so thats kind of a good thing. The other car was a Honda, but both cars had ruffly the same damage. I'm just glad, as Sam would be I believe, that the young boy in the other wasnt hurt.

well checked up insurance - am covered for the other ladys car alas not for mupp3t due to the eingine i had put in just a month before (plus my excess makes it not worth it to claim for my car). should get her back to my house tomorrow to begin the task of stripping damaged panels ($337.50 to get her back to my house). olly has sold his shell (damn poor timing) but i have a friend with a notchback with a damaged rear i might be able to convince to help me out :)
fingers crossed i should have her back on the road at xmas (didnt seem to be eingine damage just radiator. was gerat to hear the hardy ol toyota motor start up again).
Note to self - drive in rain more often

thanks so much to all who stood around in the rain - makes me want one of those "toyota cares" stickes lol

That sucks, I saw that car alongside me when I was stopped at the lights at Hagley end of Bealy ave.... looked very nice, LOVED the rims on it, very similar to what I'm throwing on the KP in due course.

Good luck rebuilding it, just think of it as an excuse to improve things! :D

overall, was a great turn up apart from sam's accident.
olly sold the shell to me, so if you after any parts, let me know. i still have two or three garuds two pair of head light, etc...in my garage. let me know if you need anything sam.
feel very sorry about your beautiful 85  ...
the weather turn it into a drifting event.......
and sorry to crispy's86(or the people couldn`t come)

but i guess we have to looking forward for the next meet. it will not happen in this month, but i have a plan to make it happen during the begining jauanry. so i will make sure let you all know.

i am looking at 8 of jauanry. hope this will give you guys to get organise and ready for the next meet. and the NEXT MEET WILL NOT turn in to cruise.

beside,Urban-Cruiser has set up a 85/86 forums. i understand it does not looks like a formal club's forum. but give him some time, and boost up the 85/86's forum. i guess it will turn up goods in the furture.

keep it side but not on the road buddies. :D

Might have the 86 on the road by January 8O Well hopefully.

If anyone is serious about the 85/86 forums, then yea get on there and start posting. Spread the word. The more people, the more posting, then more likely a domain name.

I saw a stock Trueno XL notchback in Sydenham the other day. Red, still with the Toyota hub caps.
