Mines already chip'd, but i suggest a magic swap instead, saves the hassle (and expensive) of getting one installed. Keeps the warrenty intact also.

Import games are awesome, pal sucks.

Its american. No my electrical enginering teacher once said their power is better, due the the 50hz for us, 60 hz for them. I can't remember how exectly, somthing to do with the fact its a higher frequency etc... EXCITING.

Oh righty..
Well that's funny, cos that's how they derived their NTSC standard, someone figured that a 60hz power supply when halved would give 30 frames per seond. Weird.
And someone also figured that 29.97 would be more accurate.
And there you have their silly framerate.

Apparently that's also why we have 25 fps, half of 50hz.

SUPER EXCITING

Cos they lose money when everyone copies games and doesn't buy from the shop. Same thing happened to me years ago when I wanted my PS1 chipped.

Yeah and cos its illegal. He was like I gonna ring the cops blah blah blah so my bro just hung up... I hid my XBOX for weeks while I wasn't using it lol. Betta to be safe. Although I would of been one of the first to be prosecuted in NZ lol.

hey guys

got the PS2 chipped through trademe, the same dude that u recommended Mupp3t.

hes really good and does xboxes and any other electric stuff
to save yourself going through trademe, heres his email

loose.unit@orcon.net.nz

I dont think chipping consoles is illegal, but buying/owning pirated games certainly is. if your crossing the border to New Zealand with pirated games, its not too much of a problem, as there more concerned with organic materials.
