To my thread here viewtopic.php?t=43256

Im not 100% convinced the car is actually stolen, and have a slight inkling that hes just trying to skive off giving my plates back.
If any of you live around the Brighton area, would you mind doing a driveby of 95 Wattle Drive at some random stage, and see if the car is still there.
If it is there, please txt me on vodafone 771 451 - would be most appreciative 8)

Now is it just me, or does the fact that when I sent him a txt saying someone had seen the car at The Palms and we had video footage, and his reply was "The car is at the police station" seem a bit suss?

Maybe it WAS stolen, and has now been recovered, and is sitting at the cop shop?? That last bit is a little od though, But ive never had a car stolen, so dont know how the system works.

Tried ringing the cop shop and seeing if that car is listed as stolen?

Yeah, generally stolen and recovered cars go to a cop shop. Just seems rather coincidental.

Well... not knowing what kind of mad beast pulls a scheme like this we didn't walk up the drive but as others have said it's sitting there.

The only thing for it is to get a few of us together.

We'll go there again at 2pm only need a couple more for the "safety in numbers" thing.

Either that or call the cops and say that someone stole your numberplates and the car was seen with them on, parked at that guys house.

Maybe it's just me, but why the hell does it still have your plates on it anyway? Isn't that kinda dumb? It takes like 5 minutes to change them at the post office

I appreciate the effort guys...the reason I didnt swap over plates was that I didnt get to Chch on time, and the AA would have been closed by then.
If a bunch of you do decide to go around, txt me first and I'll let him know...I dont want him to think we're going all vigilante on his ass
Im giving him the benefit of the doubt, as it may well have been stolen.
sigma - good luck getting the spoiler off ;) Its got about 12 bolts through the bootlid, as well as being moulded on.
I'll txt him tomorrow to give him a hurry up about sending them.
