What car parts/performance stores are out there in Timaru, Dunedin, Invercargill, West Coast etc? Obviously Repco..., but what other stores do you purchase from?
And what do they sell? ie general car stuff? V8 orientated? Import orientated?

sorry, you've lost me there. did you say something about Vaughans staff and Levels in the same sentence?? Carl, Greame's son, has been a sales rep for YHI for 18 months and Lance wouldn't know one end of Levels from the other(even though he claims on the Honda forums that he is out there every other month!)

i buy stuff all bits from anyone in Timaru, and would rather make something up and make a balls up than support the shops that sell to the chromos.
i'm a big believer in shopping locally, but i'll draw the line at being blatantly ripped off by so-called 'performance' shops that only know how other people made power, and have done none of their own homework when the ill-advise customers.

and no, this is no an attack on Vaughan Motors in particular (i have known Greame for many years), but the whole so-called performance type stores..

i mentioned them, cause i know of them, and last time i was down levels way, the 2x Vaughan Mitsis were both racing Around the track, so i figure they knew one end from the other. Doesn't mean the staff at the shop do. I'm not entirely sure wether they're still a big part of the shop or wether they aren't i just mentioned it cause dissisdent asked

I'm good mates with Tim Cook, who you might know, who does a lot of racing in the area, who gets on well enough with the Vaughan fellas, hence why i mentioned anything about them. They're the only place i know of down in timaru that do this stuff (im not from Timaru)

while both Carl and Ross carry Vaughan signwriting, neither have much to do with day-to-day running of the business.
