CCC Motorsport Weekend - 10/11 June

Well, its been mentioned a few times but for those who are keen:

Canterbury Car Club MotorSport Weekend

Saturday 10:

Autocross: (3 tests)

Documentation & Scrutineering: 8.30am to 8.50am
Drivers Briefing: 8.50am
Event Start: 9.00am

Car to Schedule A requirements, overalls (or racesuit) , helmet, fire extinguisher bolted to car with at least 2 M6 bolts with metal bracket, Clubsport license not required

Only Road tyres allowed, (includes mud and snows) but no rally / knobblies allowed. Basically, means a tyre designed and manufactured for public road use that fully complies with the current LTSA WOF requirements, and comply with Appendix Two, Schedule A, Article 4.8.
PS, Silverstone Rally Tyres are not allowed.



Motorkhana - (4 tests)

Documentation & Scrutineering: 2.00pm - 2.30pm
Drivers Briefing: 2.40pm
Event Start: 2.45pm

Car must be of a Warrantable standard.

Tyres as of above Autocross rules.

Car Trial

Documentation: 7.00pm
Event Start: 7.30pm

Any currently registered and WOF'd vehicle can be used. Minimum of 2 persons. A maximum of 2 Motorsport weekend competitors can not share the same trials vehicle.

Sunday 11th June

Speed Circuit Pursuit Sprint Event


Documentation & Scrutineering: 8.30am - 9.30am
Drivers Briefing: 10.15am
Event Start: 10.30am

Tyres: Free choice
Requirements: MSNZ Clubsport License or better. Current Club Membership (track) required.

Cost:

Individual Events:

Speed: $35
Trial: $10 per car (minimum 2 per car)
Motorkhana: $10
Autocross: $25

All events start and finish at Ruapuna Raceway.

Autocross: Spectator park on the speedway side of the circuit.
Motorkhana: Paddock on Leggetts Rd
Trial: Chris Amon Clubrooms, Ruapuna Raceway
Speed: Wigram Room, you can't miss it.

PS Spectators are free to all events.

Cool. Hopefully we can get the skidline going this weekend, and bring that ho along to the paddock.

standard... ie not actually have a warrant... it has belts, and only a small patch of rust.... :lol:

Some really good action there today, missed yesterdays action. Good to see the number of cars entering growing everytime i'm out watching. (should actually be racing though!!! ) :cry:

Next event is 28th July from memory, twilight sprints.
