I just moved up to Golden Bay from Christchurch (only for a couple of months then I'll be back in Christchurch), well there isn't anything ever going on up here, so was wondering what goes on in Nelson if anyone knows??

nelson comes alive over december through feb.
go over sat morning, do a bit of shopping, beach in the arvo then hit the town at night, stay at a back packers on hardy or traflager st and itll cost ya about $25-30 and youl lbe in the middle of the action
