1994 hilux surf seats

Postby toychic » Thu Apr 24, 2008 6:29 pm

ok, i have purchased a surf and its wicked as, but am stuck as to how the back seats fold down. i know that the back rests fold down, but i also thought the seats folded up to rest against the back of the front seats. iv been searching for latches or nobs or something to realese them but cant seem to find any.

do the seats acutally fold more than just down onto the seats?

*note, the carpet in the back runs fully from the tailgate right up the back of the seats to the headrests. the truck didnt come with a manual so i cant look through that.
any help appreciated, cheers

between the back of the seats and the bit ya sit on, where the seat belt bits pop out of, theres a couple of fabric loops you pull up. they pull up and they fold forward. chuuurrrrr

hurrah for google images! see the loops? they might be stuck down in the gap.
