Going to make some brackets out of alloy block, looking for 20mm thick aluminium , 150mm long 50mm wide. Where's the best place to go for this in chch?? Scrap metal merchants?

14mm ali at 150mm X ??????mm

what's the mystery measurement. might have something here.

Yeah scrappy would be first stop, though 14mm is quite thick so not sure how common it would be.

It's going to be cut down width wise, Bit hard to explain but starting at 20mm thick for the first 10 or so mm then stepping down thickness to 11mm along the length of it
