Ok, I've been put in a position by my flatmates to get rid of my car, because it's taking up valuable parking space and garage space.

It's a TE71 Corolla project car.. pretty much complete and working but the clutch doesn't function properly. I would drive it back to my parents place in Taumarunui to store, but I don't have the time to fix clutch right now, and I don't want to risk getting caught with no WOF/Rego on hold.

It would only need to be temporary until I can sort out the clutch (and when I have time after the exams).

If anyone has a spare spot on their farm or back back lawn or something (it looks hideous at the moment, check my profile for pic), or if anyone can suggest a cheap place to store it for a few weeks that would be great.

how far away is too far? I know a safe place about 10mins out of town.

As long as it's not too much of a mission to tow it there then yes it's more than suitable

This is your parents I'm guessing? I have a car cover for it so it doesn't look too hideous to look at

Hey Ken,

I might have to take you up on that offer, although I really should find a suitable towcar. I have a 1755cc '89 Galant which managed to tow a 4WD cordia on a 600kg dual axle trailer from Helensville back to Hamilton, but I wouldn't want to inflict that pain on it ever again.

Sweet well let me know if when etc... The hunter can easily tow it if ken cant.

It would be babysitted by snowy the parts car haha.. and yes a car cover is a very good idea = lots of doves n peacocks n shit = Shit. Everywhere.

Haha that would probably bottom out the back even more, and make the front lift up causing the springs to fall out :twisted:
