SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
2011 CIRCUIT SPRINTS (DUAL CAR)
TAUPO MOTORSPORT PARK
MZN PERMIT NO: TBA DATE: 6 February 2011
GENERAL: This event is a Clubsport Advanced event, being run in accordance with and under the regulations of
the National Sporting Code of Motorsport NZ as set out in the NZ Motorsport Manual #34 and any
amendments thereto. Clubs from all the top half and central regions are welcome to attend.

Scrutineer: Chris Bromley, Shane Tofts
Chief Flag Marshall: Fred Mackey
First Aid: St Johns
MNZ Steward: TBA
EVENT: Dual car sprints.
RESULTS: Fastest run wins, by class and overall.
Results will be posted during the day. Final results will be notified on the Club website after
the event. Prize giving will be at the Club’s end of year prize giving scheduled for December
10 2011.
VENUE: Track 2, Taupo Motorsport Park, Taupo
ENTRIES: Pre-entry is required. Entry forms are available from the MBOP website (www.mbop.org.nz)
or the Secretary. EMAIL, FAX or POSTAL ENTRIES ARE REQUIRED. Entries limited to
65.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
Current car club membership and Clubsport licence (minimum).
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:
All vehicles must meet standards as set out in App 2, Sch A, MNZ Manual 34. Tyres must
conform to the standards set out in Manual 34, App 2, Sch A 4.8, with particular note of
paragraph (3). Competitors are reminded that video cameras in cars must be
PERMANENTLY mounted. Hand held cameras are not permitted. Door windows and/or
window nets must be used.
AUDIT SCRUTINEERING:
It is our intention to do as much audit scrutineering as possible prior to the event. For
Tauranga based competitors there will be an opportunity for scrutineering on the afternoon
of Saturday 5 February. For out of town competitors, we will arrange for an audit in your
area if required. Please note on the entry form or send us an email to arrange this service.

GENERAL: 1. Competitors are welcome to camp at the venue in the area behind the Taupo Car Club
Clubrooms on Saturday night..
2. Competitors are responsible for damage caused to the property of third parties as specified in
the indemnity section of the entry form.
3. No alcohol may be consumed at the venue during the course of this event.
4. Emergency number on the day is ………………………
5. Marshalls will be needed to help. All marshalls will be provided with lunch. It would be
appreciated if competitors were able to bring someone to assist with marshalling.

Are you entering the AE in this event Shane?

One day I intend on attending these events rather than just going to track days and the like.

Do you have a link that could point me towards the rules and regulations of this type of event so I can see exactly whats involved and what I would need to sort out car wise? I would appreciate any info you could share.

Hi Reith.

yes megan and i will be driving the corolla in this., we are using the GTR elite track day as a test day to get used to the bigger brakes, slicks etc

Basically if the car will pass a wof, has a fire extinguisher firmly attached i n the cockpit, you have full cotton overalls and a MNZ approved helmet and away you go.

what are you doing that weekend? should come up for a looksie (and a play)
