SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
2013 CIRCUIT SPRINTS (DUAL CAR)
TAUPO MOTORSPORT PARK
MZN PERMIT NO: 9737 DATE: 3 February 2013
GENERAL: This event is a Clubsport Advanced event, being run in accordance with and under the
regulations of the National Sporting Code of Motorsport NZ as set out in the current NZ
Motorsport Manual and any amendments thereto. Clubs from all the top half and central
regions are welcome to attend.
We have included on the entry form is a box for you to tell us what your time is for Track 2 at
Taupo or what time you have done for Hampton Downs. This will help us seed you into the
correct groups. Don't worry if you've not got a time, we'll sort it out.

EVENT: Dual car sprints.
RESULTS: Fastest run wins, by class and overall.
Results will be posted during the day. Final results will be notified on the Club website after the
event. Prize giving will be at the Club’s end of year prize giving.

ENTRIES: Pre-entry is required. Entry forms are available from the MBOP website (www.mbop.org.nz) or
the Secretary. EMAIL, FAX or POSTAL ENTRIES ARE REQUIRED. Entries limited to 65.

Early Bird Entry Fee: $130.00 per driver (by 21 January 2013)
Normal Entry Fee: $150.00 per driver (up to 29 January 2013)
Late Entry Fee: $180.00 per driver (after 29 January 2013)

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
Current car club membership and M Grade licence (minimum).
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:
All vehicles must meet standards as set out in the current MNZ Manual, App 2, Sch A, and any
amendments thereto). Tyres must conform to the standards set out in App 2, Sch A 4.9 (3),
with particular note of paragraph 4.9 (3) c. Competitors are reminded that video cameras in
cars must be PERMANENTLY mounted. Hand held cameras are not permitted. Door windows
and/or window nets must be used.
AUDIT SCRUTINEERING:
It is our intention to do as much audit scrutineering as possible prior to the event. For Tauranga
based competitors please contact the Secretary. For out of town competitors, we will arrange
for an audit in your area if required. Please note on the entry form or send us an email to
arrange this service.

B 1601-2000cc E 4WD
C 2001-3500cc
PROGRAMME: Saturday 2 February 2013
1.00-3.00pm Documentation and audit scrutineering for
Tauranga based competitors. Others may attend if preferred.

Sunday 3 February 2013
8.00-9.00am Documentation (and scrutineering of late entries ONLY)
9.15am Compulsory roll call and drivers briefing
9.30am Practice runs and driver training
11.00am Dual sprints
1.00pm Lunch
1.30pm Dual Sprints
GENERAL: 1. Competitors please note - CAMPING is NO LONGER PERMITTED at the track.
2. Competitors are responsible for damage caused to the property of third parties as
specified in the indemnity section of the entry form.
3. No alcohol may be consumed at the venue during the course of this event.

5. Marshalls will be needed to help. All marshalls will be provided with lunch. It would be
appreciated if competitors were able to bring someone to assist with marshalling.
