Cruise to Kawhia*****DATE CHANGE*****

Postby 10k 20v » Sun Aug 21, 2005 6:52 pm

Im keen for a cruise to Kawhia as so are a few others.
I would like to set the date for Sat 25/9/05.
That should give people enough time to sort there stuff out. ie: savings, time off etc.
I'm thinking of also heading out to the beach just north of kawhia but it is a gravel road. But you can dig a hole and sit in a pool of hot water in the sand.
The gravel bit would be optional.
Thoughts?

Ok, when they say "cruise" on toyspeed, they actually mean race. So the crown won't be the best car to take if you want to keep up  .

Kawhia is about out pirongia ways (i think?).

Mike u taken the Charade?!? .

Hmmm... If you mean Kawhia, then I might be keen, as I have a batch @ Aotea Harbour which is just around the corner. And yes the fishing is fairly good there. :D

I never said it was slow  , but as you said, its a boat. Kawhia is not the sort of place you take a car that doesnt turn well on, especially if its a toyspeed race... i mean cruise.

your right, what the hell was i thinking

now edited.

it is a possibilty but the route home could be the bck road north to raglan or down through waitomo as the roads are just too good to waste.

Hi all peoples.

I have had to change the date the cruise is on as will be servicing on the Tokoroa rally on the 24th. So it's now the 25th

Does that suit everyone else?

The plan is to meet up at the Hamilton Lake, by the old bmx track at 10:30
Leave at 11:00 to go through Te Awamutu to pick up Wayne.
Then to Kawhia.
