And yes im quite interested because of the fuel consumption to performance ratio on these...Others id like to look into are the autech pulsar and maybe a lancer mivec.

Try a VZR Pulsar instead of the Autech as they are 1600cc VVT

Accualy they are VVL , and auech just means its got a few extras like momo wheel etc, i have seen an autech VZ-R before.

The Autech ones also have a really nice kit, front err, bumper bit and small spoiler anyway, but looks damn fine.

Well i meant the pulsar with the neo engine and vvl... is the dealership check the usual thing? do i just ring them up and ask whether they can check a car out for me? An hours labour should be less than an AA check as well? The last thing i want is little annoying noises right after i get the car.
