Caldina GT-T's

Postby dotdog » Mon Nov 21, 2005 12:25 pm

Hey all, im looking at getting rid of my BZR to get a turbo caldnia. Just got a couple of questions bout them
What are there drivelines like? Will they take the odd hard launch without dropping the box or diff on the ground?
Are the Manual ones any good for towing?
Any common faults?

Cheers
Michael

Of course, you've already used the search function, and read all of the hundreds of relevant posts about this, haven't you ... :P

I dont recommend doing any tricky reversing with a trailer in a manual caldina. Pretty sure half of my clutch is on the driveway.

General towing isn't too bad, you just have to keep the revs over 2500~3000rpm.

Lanius, it sounds like you're trying to force your way into a Mod position lately :P
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

No, I've just been on here long enough to know for a fact that there are a gazillion posts about GT-Ts (and everything else I mention the search function for)

Theres only so many times you can read the same questions over and over and over and over ... :)

You'll be fine. They weigh 1440kg (manual) and have a pretty beefy clutch, with plenty of grunt.
