You're a brave man, going for a ride in that thing. 8O

Bert is an old Toyota man from way back, he only became interested in rotaries after buying the ex-Allport car.........so he told me anyway.

not too sure if he builds the high-end motors, he has mentioned KiwiRE in conversation.

KiwiRE can't be too bad, the Puerto Ricans are buying from them.

.... and I live with his girlfriend!! :P

Is a really good guy.

Brad - you should defiently go have a chat to him. Even if he can't help you im sure he would be able to point you in the right direction. :)

Rotamax have a good rep. But he isnt in Taupo anymore so you will have to hunt down his contact details.

It all comes down to your budget really.

If you want a cheap job you get a cheap job. If you want a proper job bite the bullet and pay someone what i costs to replace everything that needs doing.

Do it once and do it right is how i see it

Hey dude try colliers in levin, know it's a bit of a weird one but nath shore down there knows a fair bit about building them. Got a mint series one 7 that he uses as a daily driver and also has something rather serious in a datsun ute he has - another thing is he might know someone he would trust with his motor if he wasn't going to do it himself which is about as far as you can go for a good recomendation.
Try them anyhow at worst all they will say is sorry can't help ya.

have u heard of the 'green brothers' in tauranga? richard and chris green both really onto it guys. are you considering a carbed or injected rotor? richard is a king of tuning carburetor rotors but they do all sorts of mods. they are busy as tho considering nocams work.. i wont say anything offensive just a wouldnt let them change the oil in my grandmas lawn mower, so if u are interested in talking to them pm me and ill giv you their details. they are in tauranga and have worked on my car and many of my mates cars. got 3 NA rotary powered cars into the 12s at the rotary nationals with their tuning.

Im hardly one to take shortcuts...I consider myself a bit wiser than to take short cuts on an engine build, particularly something that can be as fragile as a rotary.
Im more after peoples knowledge of builders, not advice on what to do.

Andrea - I'll definately go have a yarn to him then, will probably at least know of someone eh!

YeMs - FD3S ;) none of this pansy ass NA stuff

1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!
