It will set u back a pretty penny (mine cost AU$89 + shipping when published)
published in 2000 in germany (600 pages)
ISBN 3-8290-4625-1
TOTALLY WORTH EVERY CENT SPENT
Fantastic book... won't tell you what I paid for it brand new but it's less than half you quoted. Can't get it now, Konemann (publishers) have goen bust. You'll find them selling on Amazon for around $400 - $500 USD. No shit.
But yeah, I have Too Fast To Race, I have a number of old videos with Rally NZ 1984/85/86 footage (a good 2.5 hrs of each) I have some other stuff, 1985 1000 Lakes, some Safari Group B.... all this from when motorsport coverage was still comprehensive and great watching. Dougal Stevenson even narrates the 84 Rally of NZ (Blomquist won by the way, from Markku Alen in an 037). Also, track down the famous Peugeot 405T16 "Climb Dance" video, it's Ari Vatanen driving a 405T16 up Pikes Peak, simply amazing, it actually won an award at some film festival.
Fav Group B car of all time for me, would be the Lancia 037 Rallye. Mmmm, supercharged Fiat twincam goodness, in the most beautiful Group B shell.
Was the first Group B rally car too.... contrary to popular belief, the Quattro first started rallying as a Group 4 car, it wasn't until the S1 (SWB) Quattro that it was a Group B car.
