@2LTR Rona

Okay perhaps I was not clear, I was meaning the flipside of carrying more gas is more weight, which means you take longer to stop and accelerating to speed costs you more gas.
This may seem a small addition overall but about as small as your evaporation arguement... In the long term it has some effect.

I meant no disrespect to your arguement by the way. Do whatever is economical, it makes sense with $1.70/litre+ fuel. I choose to stop once a week for gas...

Hey sure run your car on 91, its a NZ new isnt it? since my first post said...
I dont understand people running cars on 91 ( unless it was MADE to run on it, which most imports arent...)

I was referring to imports running on 91, not NZ new running on 91

People I have known tend to run imports on 91 and wonder why their import cars run badly and their fuel economy sucks. When they shift upto 95 and above they really notice a difference...

:D Thank you, no personal attack intended

and the only reason for seeming to suck thru more gas below half is that the fuel tank ain't square..it is curved towards the bottom..

if not..meh i try keep mine above half cos it still costs 50-60 bucks from half
Any last words?
Box, toaster, Aluminum, Maple syrup...no I take that back..im'a hold onto that one.
