Whats a complete 4agtze egine setup worth ?

> refreshed 4agze block, from 1989 car
(new rings, new gaskets, head refreshed, otherwise std components)
> custom inlet, outlet manifolds, GT25 turbo
> Link Plus with hand controlle, Loom
> Coils, injectors etc
> Custom intercooler
> Done approx 5/10,000km since build.
> Currently working and installed in a car

Essentually a running unit excluduing the gearbox

What should i pay for something like this ?

Ive been looking into getting a 4age reconditioned recently, some of the costs you would incur building that:

block acid dipped & inspected $150
head stripped and acid dipped $100
new rings $190
head gasket $75
other gaskets $100
head set $265
link $1000
intake manifold $400
turbo extractors $400
turbo, dont know
intercooler, dont know
labour, heaps

easily worth a few grand or more depending if he has receipts to prove the work was done

How much of it can/could you do yourself, how many hookups do you have for parts etc essentially how long is a piece of string. Cost to build one is anywhere from $1000 up depending on things listed above and how crazy you want to go.
Of course for a $1000 you would do everything yourself have some serious hookups and just run it quitely bulk of the time where as if you are doing it as a race enginge well looking at the cars you have listed how much do you want to spend.
PS If your doing it for a race application your probably going to want to know exactly what it has so i hope the person who has i that your looking at buying it off has receipts

Sorry guys, there is someone which is selling this setup, and i'm trying to work out what is a fair price to pay is. And yes, i'll be sure to make sure its running well, and he has receipts etc.

Hey i didn't ask if he was building it or not i was just giving an indication of how much it could or would have cost to build. Trying to give him a rough idea of how much he should pay for it as well
