I bought an R34 bonnet off trademe, and found out the guy also had a radiator too, so bought it off him aswell.
He gave me a free aircon fan(which he said was for an r34 rb25), and overnight freighted it all for free too.

I was happy as with that deal!

But they arrived today...
Aircon fan is off some shitty old Falcon or something, it has a metal shroud and some rangi old plug, R34 ones have a plastic shroud
Radiator looks like it's been smashed and repaired, its off for pressure testing tonight
Bonnet wasnt wrapped, so was covered in scratches

Now, I'd feel guilty if I played negative feedback, but im not sure if he deserves positive either?

What do you all reckon

Well you cant exactly complain about the fan, being free and all. If he said the rad. was in good nick then you are justified in giving negative feedback.

What would Toyspeed do? Bitch and moan like it was a matter of life or death ;)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

just because he gave you a good deal and gave you a fan for free isn't any reason to send damaged goods...

You need to email him with your concerns before you even think about leaving feedback. You end up with retailiation negatives if the milk turns out to be sour.

I thought this was going to be a funny thread....
I immediately thought of the song in the South Park Movie called "What Would Brian Boitano Do?"

Watch this clip of the movie (sorry about random japanese? subtitles)

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Compare what you got with what the seller said, word for word. Work out if there is any statements that could lead to confusion.. i.e.

"The black currents in Ribena have 8 times the Vitiman C of oranges"

Does this mean:
1) That the Vitiman C content IN the very bottle you buy is 8 times higher than that of a similar sized bottle of OJ or:
2) That the blackcurrents used have 8 times the Vitiman C as oranges, but that's before they're used to make the drink...

Anyhow I am sure you got the idea. You'd be protected under the consumers gaurantee act if the parts were deliberately mis-represented. You'd be entitled to a refund - if they give one or not depends on the other person =[
