And notice they even had sponsership stickers under there too hahaha
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Nah, they can use as many shells engine's etc etc as they want during the season.

The team that dad works for which is Sirromet Wines,
( which is Paul Morris, Car 39 which was Kayne Scott/Alan Gurr, and the TKR car)
Has a complete spare shell painted wired etc etc all set to go in the w/shop at all times that can be prepared and assembled within a week if required.

Weather TKR use it or not will depend on what the TKR management want to do, as no use buying another car (they own the one they had, and user pays of course) as then they will end up owning two Commodores and a Ford at the end of the season, as they have supposedly commited to buying a FPR falcon for next year.

Porter dies after crash

October 8, 2006 - 7:27PM

Race driver Mark Porter died today after he suffered massive injuries in a crash at Mount Panorama on Friday while preparing for the Bathurst 1000.

Porter died at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney today after suffering serious head and chest injuries in a 180kph crash with David Clark during a second tier V8 race at the Bathurst 1000 meeting.

The Gold Coast based New Zealander leaves behind his wife Adrienne and one-year-old son Flynn.

He was 31. *rip* :(

I'm surprised they let him go back out after that, he would have been so wired afterwards!

No doubt! "I wanna do it again....." and so on.

And another thing, even though I am a Holden supporter when push comes to shove, I would have actually been keen to see Seton/Courtney come away with a win.....

A good win for Ford :D

But FFS the race directors need to not be so bloody stupid and let them actually have a race the safety car was really startin to piss me off.

I mean when Murphys mate crashed he managed to get back on the track and drive to the pit but they still brought it out.

was a bugger it was out so much, but thats bathurst. throws the stratigies out the window. closes it up.

How about when the saftey car pulled out infront of one of the cars exiting pits. Had to jam on the anchors. Just clipped his rear bumper. Would have been funny if it was harder. "saftey car in crash"
