Interior Question

Postby GTCRSHR » Mon Nov 06, 2006 1:35 pm

i guess this is the right place to ask....

but looking for ideas, just getting the leather sorted out for my car,

what should i do with the head liners, its getting done in micro suede, do i colour it the same colour as the seats, or go for something different, (same colour as the exterior etc )

if any one has any good pictures and ideas that would be great

thanks!

I think you should use your mum.

What colour suede is it?

For the seat inerts are you going to be tricky and use the reverse of the fabric or is it all going to be the same?

i already used your mum. she didnt come out too well ...

anyways back on topic...

suede i can get in any colour, leather will be a cream/beige? at this stage, i can have it coloured at the end if i want something different ...

dont know if i should go the same colour for the headliner, or something different,

how hard is it to do those, star headliners, where you flip a switch and it looks like stars ?

Fibreglass it and paint it the exterior colour. Do the same to the floors.

Or something. :)

I'd do it a different colour, while single colour interiors can look good, usually they look overdone and it all blurs.

Contrast is good :P

arent those star headliners fiber optic? if so im gusssing would be kinda fiddly, but hey they look cool.

What about a light grey seude or black? But i reckin as someone else said brown could be cool.
