TS invited to GP Trackday! 13th Dec, Taupo

Toyspeed has been invited to attend a Taupo trackday organized by Gameplanet Forums on the 13th December 2006.

$135 entry fee - 25 racers

Private hireage of Taupo Track 2 - Standard rules apply (no drifting, requires helmet/overalls, Rego+WOF etc)

We're needing an extra 6-8 guys to fill the spots and it's getting awfully close to the date. We need to have everybody's cash in the next week or so.

Edit- Oh yeah, we're all staying at Camellia Court Motel so if you're coming, you might wanna book accommodation there. After trackday, we hope to have a BBQ and drinks!

Not too sure about the WOF/Rego thing. Of course we don't care, but it's the Taupo staff that we're worried about. They didn't seem to check any cars last time but I'm not too sure about now.

Yeah I think you need to pay an extra $700 or something for the track hireage if you intend to drift.

i'm still quite keen, could bring down the KP60, its caged with log book and with seats, but no reg/wof.

if you could put in a word with an organiser we may be able to come to a agreement

Alright, I'll put in a word. It was fine last time we raced (3rd August) we had a racer there with no wof/rego in a standard road car race

In my experience they do random checks if they aren't happy with the behavour or running of the event. So be prepared
HOWEVER if you have a MSNZ car with the log book you'll be sweeet!!

Alright thaphatty, talked to the organizer and you're good to go. A Cage is a race car-like setup, so you're welcome to race without a WOF/Rego
