I would assume they meet the required standards, although I'd be waiting for to confirm. I think it'd probably be a grey area though, and I'm pretty sure they don't make em anymore

Yup, need to know the standards mark on them, which could be anything, more than likely is a small circle with "J I S" in it (Japanese Industry Standard) or a big E with a smaller number next to it (usually a 4 or 1) which is a european standard mark, they are the most common standards

unless there is something i am missing?

They dont view the details until entering the results of the inspection in.

Most people go back to the same WOF place because you dont have to pay for the re-check within the 28 days they allow you, if you go to another station they will charge you their price, but you are more than likely correct when you say that they dont notice notes til it pops up on screen when they go to issue the warrant, they will then probably be a little pissy that you didnt disclose the failure at a different station prior to them starting the WOF process, depending on how wanker they are!

But the note does come up and there is no way to issue a WOF til the inspector or CSO enters that the work has been done

From memory it is a bulb kit, but since it's "OEM" and they're projector headlights it shouldn't pose too much of a problem......but I'm guessing it will

they look dam good tho, i saw one the other night with a set, looks fantastic

man, I was hoping that it would look @rse... my factory lights have a nice blue tinge to them anyway, and those blingy super cheap silver bulbs give a nice colour, and not too blinding to oncoming traffic either.
