What to do with my Trueno??

Postby Tuscan » Fri Aug 31, 2007 12:05 pm

My ae92 Trueno which I've had for the past 4 years is in a bad way. I took it in for a new clutch only to find that it needs a big end rebuild and would probably cost about the same as what I paid for it to fix it :(

So I guess its the end of the road for me and this car. I guess I'll have to sell it for parts. How should I go about this? Any recommendations are really appreciated as to how, where etc.

Cheers

How much for the whole thing :)

I'll always be after trueno parts, for the next few years anyway. Can't see me having the cash to pay the RWD premium thats around

Thought about replacing engine but I would have to pay someone to do it which I assume would cost quite a bit. Plus it needs a clutch as well so would likely end up pretty expensive. All good if you know how to do it yourself but I'm bloody hopeless!

The mechanic rang me up and said the big end needed doing and he reckoned probably wasn't worth doing the clutch unless did it all...
