Making KE70 bumpers..... Alloy, fiberglass etc

Postby solberg Fan » Thu Oct 04, 2007 7:19 pm

Ive damaged my rear bumper a week or so ago and am in need of a replacment.

Ive heard of a few ke70s with non OEM bumpers folded out of alliminum. Im keen to see if anyones seen one before and did they look any good? Id give one ago but the folder at work isnt long enough.
Also any one seen a fiberglass version?

Thanks all

Before you judge someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you judge them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

We went thru a few front bumper in my KP60 starlet back in the days,

and had a fibreglass mouold and made some up.

They were painted black and you could not even tell they were not original untill you got really close, so dont see why making some KE70 ones would be any different.

Can be quite $$$$ though if you dont know someone who does fibreglass stuff to make a mould and some bumpers out of it.
