off topic a tad but did anyone else see the top gear a couple of weeks ago where they had all the "old school" supercars and compared them to the new ones?? the XJ220 completely DOMINATED either the Pagani Zonda or the konningzeg CCR (spelling) in a drag cant remember which one tho.

therer is nothing "super" about the NSX IMO infact any GTR is a far superior car IMO

I don't no about being far superior I've seen a best motoring dvd that would suggest that the NSX was the better all rounder and they were testing both cars at Fuji and the NSX was right there with a Porsche GT3.
Did'nt the late Aryton Senna have alot to do with alot of the NSX's development. But back on topic the new GTR will be a tough act for the others to follow but I think the new Lexus LF-A will go close if not better the GTR's performance.

It would be good if Toyota did something like that, they did good with the Supra but haven't done anything I'd call interesting for ages.

i just don't see that next toyota being as aggressive/focussed a car as the gtr. i have a feeling itll end up being a bit softer round the edges. itll probly be close in spec and get close in performance tho.

we are all really just guessing so far tho as concepts change a lot from paper to production. the gtr was a good example of that.

I doubt Toyota would build something in numbers that would leave the showroom with nearly 500hp. To be honest I'm surprised the new Nissan is as powerful as I thought they would play it "safe" and not turn the wick up quite so much.

That old 280 ps "limit" is well and truly toast now... :D
