Another GTR bites the dust

Postby summin » Tue Nov 06, 2007 10:05 pm

I know this is a Toyota forum but we can all feel this guy's pain

A bit of excitement on the motorway right outside work today. Dont know how the guy managed to lose it seeing as the traffic wasnt going all that fast, and noone else was involved at all. Car doesnt look that bad in the photos, but in person its pretty stuffed.

Guy was suffering from shock and had to be taken away in an ambulance, guess Id be pretty gutted too

Enjoy...

Man, that looks just like the one I was admiring last night.

Seeing that makes me hurt in the testies
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

 That guy must be gutted. Wonder what on earth he was up to, or if there was some outside influence - looks almost like the kind of thing you'd do if you were avoiding something and locked up.

On that stretch of motorway cars love crawling along at 60km/h... it really annoys me! The GTR probably came past Greville Rd doing around a hundie, saw the crawlers, panicked, swerved and the rest is history...
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976

Nah was pretty dark, pretty much black.

My theory too, wish I saw it but I was too occupied with my wendys to be paying attention to the motorway. Have a pretty good view from the 2nd story lunchroom too :D
