SS Intercooler piping and car places in tauranga

Postby method » Sat Nov 24, 2007 3:41 pm

Hey All.

I know Tube Bending Ltd is a good place to get it in Auckland, thing is i work mon - fri in Tauranga now. Just moved down a week ago.

Is there a good place somewhere in Tauranga to get some 2.5" and some 2" mandrel bent SS tubing? Need a few 90's with long tails.

I know tube bending ltd bend their own which is good, so the tails arn't set sizes.

Also, wheres a good place to bring your car for general work, my corolla will need the ratio for the speedo changed to pass a cert, and the speedo cable seems to be snapped.
Id find it much easier to just pay someone to sort it out as im working full time now and dont have all that much time off leading upto christmas.

Thanks

Hmm, could use that, wanted SS so i can weld sections together.

Too many joiners look fugly IMO.

Plus SS is about $15 for a 90* bend, half the price.
