they are a very good tool if you intend on keeping the car and altering its setup a lot.

wouldnt bother with 20valve head to be honest. I prefer to get someone who knows what they are doing to tune mine, and my ecu is old and doesnt have USB ports anyway.

one of the guys on here with a 4agte plugs his laptop in at the drags to adjust rev limit, launch control settings, flatshiftings etc inbetween runs.
I had a look through the menus and its very easy to use to adjust fuelling and ignition etc, but like i said you would want to know what you're doing or they are just numbers on a page .

the wiring cost alone is prob around $600-700 so if you do that your self plus get the engine running and set up ready to be dynod youll save yourself a bit. but 2.5k sounds about right

yeah they are very easily adjustable, but i'd say almost too easy as customers can get their hands into the tune and alter it and possibly damage their engine.

the quad throttles are harder to tune, and never drive quite as nice for gentle throttle and cruising when turboed. also means more fabrication for inlet collector etc.
the extra valves dont do jack really other than add moving parts.
the VVT can be useful , but the cams seem to make power higher in the rpm, as opposed to the 4agze heads with seem to like to make power lower down, making 20v heads good for very large turbos and abusive rpm.

thats just from a few different experiences i've had in other peoples cars and watching dyno charts , and there were a few other variables like turbo and pistons too.

if i was doing a build from scratch it would be with a standard or ported 4agze head and a larger single throttle body.

worth it? it's worth EVERY cent. i gained an incredible amount of driveability, fuel economy and alot more power going to the link over std computer setup

actually wished i'd done it sooner. but you learn these things as you go along. hell i've been through about 6 different turbo setups on my car to get where it is now
