Probably, I'd roll a VN wagon for pure tow car appeal.

700km is irrelevant anyway if you are going to load it up with tools etc it will be working hard to cart it around and will use more gas than something doing it with ease

and going to the snow with that would be worse than taking the ae111. Unless of course you own a "Mr Plough" jacket?

therefore. get yourself a ke70 wagon as a work hack and keep the ae111 for weekends etc..

buy a set of snow tyres for the ae111 too as they are cheap as on trademe as they get taken off the new imports :P

so many ideas..... probably none of them good

I got on 1 fill up from Auckland to Wellington (about 650kms)... That means that I had some fuel left in the tank to go another 50kms
and about 3/4 of tank from Picton to Timaru (slighly under 500kms)
That was in AE101 20valve.

ditto... I've had 720 on a trip, dunedin -> rangiora(north of chch), drove round for a day or so, and drove back, filled up at oamaru, BP98 in a 2zz-ge Corolla with no passengers, AC used sometimes, and stereo with amp going all the way both ways... drove like a nana though as cash was tight, so 90-100 tops, normally I get ~650 ish per tank(45L) on the same trip driving 100-120 ish when passing.

Well I took it to say it does 700km each tank. Not 700km if you stick at 100km/h on the open road

I too got around 600km out of my ae111 tank weighed down with 3 person tent and all the gear for 2 of us chch to motueka (plus driving there). So anything is possible I guess
