12 month warrant

was just reading on the vtnz site and found this written there...

"All vehicles registered less than six years ago must have a WoF inspection every 12 months. All other vehicles must have a WoF inspection every six months"

does that mean if my car was bought into the country last year that i only have to go for a warrant once a year or am i missing the boat completely here

My cars are lucky if they get a warrant once a year. Wildat is right though.
