I have a 218kw atw ae101 monster sitting in my garage, hasnt run in couple of months, just needs some new spark plugs and some fresh fuel to turn it over.
i'm intending on selling it as soon as i can be bothered starting it and getting it a wof, and will be going stupidly cheap when i do. fair price is probly 7-8k for the specs mine has but i'll probly throw it away for ~5k when i eventually get round to sorting it out, just coz i've got other priorites now.

things to look for:
-4agze bottom end, or 4agze pistons, very useful if you want much more than 140kw atw
-gearboxes in relation to power output, c series shift much nicer and has close ratios but won't last too long at decent power outputs. E series are stupidly strong but tend to eat synchros, also use a thicker driveshaft i think too, but ratios are very long.
-does it have LSD? slippy diffs are very rare for E series boxes but very useful if you intend on going to the track.
-what ECU does it run and who tuned it? can use 4agze ECU's but an aftermarket give more flexibility for tuning.
-size of the turbo? this is key in getting good power output from a 4agte, as the small engine needs a good sized turbo to get the best from it, but needs to be sized right to avoid lag.
some things to consider when looking, there are a lot of really rough ones around, so its better to wait for a tidy example to rush into a cheap shitter as you'll end up spending a lot of money to fix it.
