Yaris Recall

Postby repowered » Thu Jan 29, 2009 4:43 pm

More than 3000 late model Toyota Yaris cars are to be recalled in New Zealand because of a potential seatbelt fault.

never heard of gas fired pre tensioners before...guessing it tightens the seatbelts at the same time the airbags go off?

they are recalling more than 1.35 million worldwide

seatbelt and exhaust defects -

"the recalls are mostly due to problems linked to seatbelt tensioner that may cause a fire in the case of a collision"

The exhaust, but still havn't caused any problems yet. 800 were recalled in Hong Kong, read about it this early afternoon but didn't make a thread about it.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
