Its all been said before - you're loading the beams wrongly (pulling them in) and those ratchet straps are not at all suitable for load bearing - tying stuff down- sure, but def not load bearing.

Im not sure if you'll snap the straps or collapse the roof first - but either way you'll wreck the car and whoever/whatever is under it.

Buy/borrow some axle stands - if you need it high grab some 6 or 12 ton ones - don't get yourself squashed over $100

You dont need an engine lift etc etc.... Just use the HUGE beam in the photo.

Just need to learn abit about rigging/knots and buy some rock climbing sling (rated at 3ton and some are rated more). Its cheap as pies ($2 per meter) from Extreme Edge on Morrin Rd Mt Wellington or bivouac (biv will cost more)

I would go to a rigging shop like DM Standen, on the concourse, they specialise in slings, rope, chain and wire (and ratchet tie-downs) and will have absolutely everything you need to do this safely

I dout the beams will have a problem taking it, i didnt use the bigone because it would hang the back of my car out of the shed.. and im lazy, its not easy doing things when u cant walk.

i have a tressel under it, theres no way in hell u could get me under that without one, the strops wer only like $35

and i couldnt put the chain around the beems because they woudnt fit under the iron...

obviously it isnt safe haha
