Front bumper mesh

Postby Distrb » Thu Jul 09, 2009 5:13 pm

Who knows where to get some decent coarse bumper mesh? Racepro stuff isnt good enough, even the coarsest stuff is too fine.

Looking at something similar to the factory mesh in the front bumper on: http://razine.com/gallery/gallery2/v/Re ... 7.jpg.html

Surely there must be more choice out there than racepro? Someone please enlighten me.

Years ago I bought some at Ulrich in Petone. They had lots of options from memory so might be worth a look to see if they have what you need?

May sound silly but, have you tried mitre 10, bunnings etc?

They might have something to suit?

You guys just gave me an idea. The bumper of my Celica has two holes on each side where foglamps should be. Brand new foglamps are expensive and 2nd hand ones for the 2003 model are hard to find. From your posts, I imagined black paint on mesh attached from the inside of the bumper. I don't have time nor the skill for a DIY job, do you where I can have this done properly? Cheers.
