Do all ae92 corollas have the same seat belts?

Postby AirNZ » Sat Jun 05, 2010 11:25 am

I need a couple of seat belts for a wof on my ae92 corolla station wagon, drivers belt and left rear.

Does anybody know if other seat belts from ae92 models will be the same?

I just checked the list at pick a part and they have some corollas of the same year but different models.

Any advice?

Any of the 90 series (ie EE90, AE91, CE90, AE95 etc) sedans, 5 door hatches and wagons will have the same front belts, but depending on trim level they may be a different colour. I would say the rears would be wagon specific as they don't mount the same as a sedan does.

The only thing to be careful with is that if your wagon is NZ new, find a NZ new wagon to get a belt out of, I notice that my import FXGT has had new belts fitted when it arrived in NZ, so other imports are probably similar

it will depend if the vehicle has had autoliv replacement belts fitted to it, or if it is still on original factory type ones.
