Good Place to get Cut & Polish done in Auckland?

Looking for somewhere thats not overly expensive but will still do a reasonable job.

Can someone recommend somewhere to get a full cut and polish done.

Roof is showing some fairly heavy oxidation which I'm hoping will not require re-painting. And pricing getting the front bumper re-painted.

I'm in Auckland the car is an Toyota Levin.

And any idea what this is likely to cost me?



Or would I just be better off buying a polisher and doing it my self? Main thing I was worried about is making it worse.

The polisher is kinda $$$, a proper one anyway, with variable speed.

You'll need compounds, pads. And a lot of patience.

I did it on my MR2, it went from the famous pink to a bright red.

It's not that hard, if you have half a brain you can pull it off.

The cost of polisher (entry level) is almost the same as getting it professionally done (not by car groomers - they are hopeless).
So you decide, remember if you are going to do it more than once in 5 years and don't mind a bit of exercise then buying a polisher and diy is a better option.

Yeah, the Hitachi 180mm polisher runs at something like $300 retail. Plus if you're a noob, you can burn the paint.
Take it to a proper painter, they'll do it for a reasonable price.

I am not so sure if you wanna cut the paint on the same car more than once... Gets kinda thin....
