Ghost WOF??

Postby TOYGT4 » Wed Mar 23, 2011 4:04 pm

Any one have a numberplate similar to mine (TOYGT4) with a Celica? Did you get a WOF in Jan this year? Just curious as otherwise my toy managed to leave my garage and go WOF itself! Considering it's not able to drive as it's being worked on I find it rather amazing... It's been off the road with rego on hold for the last year and a half lol!

Car that did get a wof had 130ks and somehow managed to get it put onto my ride?! Just thought people better check to make sure they have a valid Wof if u have a gt4 or celica...

Chees peeps, will do some more digging (thanks carjam and nzta) ;)

Also have had this happen with a car off the road. Was tempted to go for a drive with my new WOF  Same car has now been without a WOF for over a year, wonder what its upto in Nelson.

Just gave nzta a call and told em, I didn't want any part of it.

Pretty sure there's a guy in Pukekohe with a white celica wearing plates that read T0YGT4 or similar. (assuming my memory's not playing tricks) I believe he works on Adams drive, I often pass him just as I get to the workshop and occasionally see the car at the local lunch bar too.

interesting that it happens that often. considering you have to get both vin and number plates to issue the wof into the computer. and if the ks don't match it throws up a warning and the computer also tells you what year and colour the car is too. so you must have a sister ship out there or a very lazy wof inspector issued the wof to the wrong car...

well maybe trade your MR2 into something cool like a silvia then you wouldn't need to wish :D
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
