Nah just have a few drinks before driving, cry at your court appearances and say you are sorry and you will get PD bro.

You would still have to live with the fact you had killed or seriously injured someone whilst driving like a tool for your own testosterone buz.. Keeping in mind the Toy speed demographic I’m Just trying to be PC, I have seen some interesting drivers over the years, myself as a teen included. I have also seen mates kill themselves and other friends trying to show off.

Don’t mean to bring a downer, this thread is about driving roads and there is no better than Targa! The reason I moved to doing Targa is a love of driving fast on Kiwi roads and ultimately wanting to do it safely, have spent years crashing into things on the gravel and tarmac roads road’s and then progressed to Track days that were fun for a while and then some smaller club sport events, looked at circuit racing but it was more about money and not as much a thrill for me, Targa is a massive adrenalin buzz that lasts for a week. You don't have to be rich, I’m not rich, I chose to do Targa instead of other things like taking holidays, clubbing, drinking or other hobbies.

Back to topic.
I live in Papakura and my one of favourite test routes starts 5mins away. Great for testing new improvements out on the car, new tyres, brakes ect and generally making sure everything is bolted down, the roads are quite and you don’t need to be over the speed limit to enjoy them. I always drive them with caution and respect for other road users and locals, IE no big burnouts or lots of noise in built up areas, always obey the speed limits and slow down for small towns, I often see people enjoying the roads but flying through small towns like Hunua at 120kph. Not on.

Check this out for a nice bike ride
