Postby sergei » Mon Apr 23, 2012 8:57 am

I am looking for Tein supplier, specifically I am looking for ST185 Tein adjustable struts+springs for my ST165.
More specifically this:

Thought about our MRP brand.
I can vouch they will ride nicer than teins.

autolign had some pretty good deals going for TEIN coilovers not so long ago. like $1700 for a set of mac strut coilovers. would be worth checking out.

can vouch for both MRP and TEIN coilovers we used MRP coilovers in the ae82 which were a massive improvement over the previous koni struts and i run TEIN in the ae101.

I have gotten reply from autolign, but not quite understood what they meant:

We have the Super street kit available of the shelf, this kit is no longer being made, that's why we think that the part number you gave us is for the kit to be custom rebuilt from Tein be because it is double the price,

For this kit (GST18-B1SS4), you would be looking at, $2410.00 + GST,

Instead of the (GST18-BUSS4), you would be looking at, $4860 + GST Ex Japan,

As I understand the one they have is GST18-B1SS4 which is somehow different to GST18-BUSS4 (custom built to my specs?).

I will go with bazda's deal once I have spare $$$. Will see how my bilstein inserts do at track on R888.

yeah ok those prices aren't really that special eh! perhaps it is the difference between a super street and next model up?
